Steve started Steve Andrea Architecture in 2005. He is born and bred in Canberra and studied architecture at the University of Canberra, graduating in 1998. He then moved to Sydney where he worked for several firms before spending 6 years with Wolff Architecture where he became an Associate Director and was responsible for running a wide range of projects from medium density developments in the Eastern Suburbs to a high rise unit block in Charlestown.
Steve is a registered architect in both the ACT and NSW and is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects. From humble beginnings Steve has grown the business into a vibrant company with a growing client base that enjoys many return clients as well as a healthy referral stream.
Sam is a Canberra local and has been with us since 2014. Sam has twice now tried to leave us for more exotic locations but the pull of Canberra and SAA keeps bringing him back.
Sam studied for his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Canberra. Whilst studying he worked with Guida Moseley Brown Architects from 2010-2013, working on projects such as the Canberra International Airport and Parliament House Upgrades. In 2016 Sam worked for EPR Architects in London. During his time there he worked on Heritage Projects such as the Hotel Russell and the Old War Office in Whitehall.
Whilst with SAA, Sam has worked on many projects in the office that have gone on to win awards. Our clients enjoy working with him and the fresh perspective he brings to a project. Since returning at the start of 2017 Sam has reclaimed his rightful place in control of music in the office.
